Its geometric design allows lateral movement, which absorbs stresses from differential movement between the tile and substrate. This effectively prevents common problems such as cracking and delamination.
- PROVIDES WATERPROOFING & VAPOR MANAGEMENT - The lightweight membrane offers reliable waterproofing by preventing moisture from reaching the substrate, which is crucial for protecting moisture-sensitive materials. The open-air channels beneath the fleece layer create a pathway for moisture to dissipate, making the membrane ideal for below-ground installations.
- SUPPORT FOR MULTIPLE FLOOR TYPES - Our tile membrane is a key component of an optimal heated floor system, suitable for installation beneath bathroom floor tiles, stone, marble, engineered wood, luxury vinyl, and laminate flooring. It provides support and distributes load evenly, thanks to the mortar column-like structures formed within its surface.
- TECHNICAL FEATURES - This 70 sqft underlayment membrane works with multiple sizes of underfloor heating wire up to 0.2" (5mm) thick. 1" apart studs ensure consistent 3" (7.6cm) cable spacing for even, efficient heat. The waterproof membrane can also be used without cables for level transitions to higher floors. Specs: Width: 3.24ft, Length: 21.7ft, Thickness: 0.26inch (6.5mm). Prova achieved EXTRA HEAVY rating (ASTM C627) and comes with a 50-year warranty for long-lasting performance.
