Our newly designed grinder safety shields are engineered to fit most mid to large-sized bench grinders, pedestal grinders, buffers, and drum sanders. The shield featured in the image is 6" wide, perfectly suited for a 6" wheel series BALDOR. For larger equipment, we offer a 9" wide shield, ideal for oversized grinders, drum sanders, and buffers. Each shield is equipped with 3/8" thick aluminum mounting plates, precision slotted to accommodate a wide range of grinder pedestal bolt patterns, including those specific to Baldor pedestals. These plates offer versatile mounting options and can be securely attached directly to a table or workbench, providing flexibility and ease of installation in any workspace. The shield's height is easily adjustable, with three distinct height adjustment holes that allow you to position it at the most effective height for optimal protection. Constructed from industrial-grade aluminum extrusion, the shields are coated with a durable "safety orange" powder finish for enhanced visibility and long-lasting protection. The shields themselves are made from 1/4" thick polycarbonate (Lexan), offering superior impact resistance while maintaining clear visibility.
